In life we have all heard the saying “the sky is the limit.” Well if that’s the measuring stick for success, peace, love, happiness and prosperity. I don’t want it then. We should have the courage to push pass the limits that was placed on us and go after what society views as inevitable, but really is incredible. That’s God.
Remember, “whatever the mind believes, the body will achieve”
I’m going to let the image do all the talking.
Remember Dream, believe and Achieve
You know my WordPress family I can remember as a young boy sitting at the dining table listening to both my father and mother talk. They would say that “people are their own worse enemy.”
I never really understood what they meant by this. I would hear them say profound deep revelatory things that would silence a room. I seldomly would ask for them to clarify. It wasn’t until I moved out and was in college that I realized that what they said was true. Many times we blame others for our downfalls, short comings and missed opportunities. Many times we play the victim. We tell ourselves that if things around us would fall into it’s proper place we would have a easier way of living. We sit back and point the finger believing that this is the works of others. Only to realize that this was not by the hands of others. It was never others that was standing in our path.
It hurts doesn’t it?
Life has a funny way of showing you what you see verses what you really are.
Don’t stand in your way. You deserve more. You are better than that. You see yourself as royalty but you’re living the life of a peasant. Remember dream, believe and achieve. You can’t just see yourself as royalty, you have to mentally be royalty first.
Something to think about??
You know alot of times we just wake up, put some coffee on, shower, brush our teeth and hair, grab a quick bite to eat whether at home or a restaurant, check the phone or computer for texts and emails, grab the keys and out the door. That’s the beginning to our morning, in a hurry, stressed and burden with alot of assignments and task that need to be completed before the day ends. Either that or we wake up and do the same daily routine but along the way we moan, groan and complain. Sigh! “Another day another dollar, back to work all over again. I can’t wait for Friday.”
I can definitely rasie my hand and testify to this. I have been guilty of this numerous times. I start the day off in a panic and it ends in a panic. Start the day of rushing and worrying. End the day rushing and worrying. Start the day of bad and it ends bad. See when you do this everyday it makes you want to hit the pause button on life. It becomes too much for the mind, heart, body and soul. I don’t even think a vacation would solve what is precieved and felt.
However, I noticed that when I wake up the first thing that I do is set my mind on Yahuah (God) first thanking him for another day that I am alive. Showing thanks and gratitude for having the opportunity to live again. To be able to open my eyes and do right. Correct my wrongs. Appreciate that I have a wife, a family. Thankful for the car and the apartment. Allow me to be a blessing to somebody in need of a kind gesture or word. Then I check my phone, my computer, ESPN, shower, etc. I noticed that the day goes by much smoother. Don’t get me wrong we live in a world that is full of people so somebody will still try to try you and disturb your peace. But I set that foundation earlier and whatever they may say or do want have any profound effect. It won’t matter.
What I am saying is that when you wake up set that time (it don’t have to be and too long a couple of minutes will do just fine) aside for you and Yahuah (God) to give him thanks. Because he is the reason that you are waking up everyday. It’s not because of the alarm clock. Ask him what direction shall you go in. How can you be a blessing unto others. You know in my twenty-six years I am realizing that we are always on the go. Just a fast pace society. We don’t have time for others nor do we have time for ourselves. We are always busy. And because of this we become burdened down, wore out and mentally drained.
This prohibits us from being effective in our life and someone else life. So we go on vacations or take time off from life to rejuvenate. But we return feel 50% better. Feeling 50% able to deal with life’s problems, task and situations.
So what is that rejuvenation that we need??
Well the word says,
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
So what I am trying to say is that 1) wake up with God on your mind and hearts. 2) Make today’s and others days problems secondary. 3) Seek Yahuah (God) wisdom, love, grace, mercy and care. Ask how can you be of service today in someone else life? Put others before you. 4) Appreciate, be thankful that you are alive and well. 5) Walk in that joy and peace knowing that you gave all your troubles, burdens and worries to the right one. Remember no matter what task or situation that you are faced with. HE GOT YOUR BACK.
Read this and ask yourself, truly ask yourself. Why are you telling yourself that you should be further in life than you are currently? Then follow the question with, what are you holding on to that is holding you back from your purpose? Sit back and allow yourself to be humbled you will be surprised of the answer that you find out about yourself.
Yesterday I was having a conversation with myself. Yes I do that from time to time. I’ve been noticing that more and more people are walking around feeling unfulfilled. Regretting that they didn’t capitalize on their opportunities. I hear
“If I knew then what I know now I would be in a better place.”
“I should be further in my life then where I’m currently at.”
I politely ask why do you say that? Their response is I was being foolish when I was in my youth. I chose the streets instead of wisdom and knowledge. I rejecting the advice that my elders gave me. I traded in my obedience for sacrifice of the life that I should be having for the life that I wanted to have. I seen value in a temporary lifestyle instead of a everlasting lifestyle. I wanted things quick fast and in a hurry instead of taking my time.
I sit back in amazment because the people that I am talking to aren’t eighty or ninety years of age. They are in their mid to late twenties, thirties, fourties, fifties and late sixties. And it’s amazing how they have accepted defeat. It’s truly sad and at the same time humbling because they are not realizing that as long as they have life in their body. As long as the most high keeps waking them up. They can always live again They can always try again. They have a chance. They don’t have to quit, throw in the towel and accept defeat. They have a chance to live right, do right and be right. They don’t have to accept their circumstances and predicaments.
It’s humbling because my dad always told me that you don’t have to touch the fire to know that it is hot and will burn you. Just observe people lives and you will know what to do and what not to do.
However, what’s truly amazing about all of this is all the garbage that they are still holding onto that prevents them from succeeding in life. I question What’s holding them back from what they deserve to have. What’s holding them back from taking that next step toward a better tomorrow? Why can’t they access what’s theirs? Why can’t they let go and allow Yahuah (God) to truly have his way? What aren’t they letting go that is effecting their present and future. What are they benefitting by being hardhead? Why make life more difficult for yourself than it already is? Why aren’t you realizing that today is a new day. All those things that have happened on yesterday is old. You have another chance to live again? Why are you finding comfort in continuing to stay blind and deaf to your opportunities that you have now? Why do you like being alive physically but dead mentally, spiritually and emotionally? You are a warrior. Now why did you trade in your armor for some magic beans? Who told you that this is where your life ends?
Now you answer,
What are somethings in your life that you are holding on to; not allowing yourself to be humble enough to receive direction, that is preventing you from elevating to a level in your life that you believe that you should already be at?
Today is a new day to conquer what you desire. Do not put it off for tomorrow, because tomorrow is not promised, for today is. Go out into the world and conquer what awaits you. Take hold of what you value. Protect what you cherish.
Cherish today as if it were your last. Do and be all that you can be today. Do not let today leave and you are left feeling unfulfilled, regretting that you could have done more but chose less. Believe in yourself, feed your mind the courage it needs. Push your limits, go beyond what you thought that you could achieve. Experience life, for you only have one life to live and a short time to accomplish many things. So make it count. Conquer your goals, be able to say I did it and it was worth it. Be happy, you made it congratulations. You deserve it. You earned it. The fear of not trying motivates you more than fearing failure.
Be great, conquer today. Believe, receive and go out there and achieve.
Whatever trials, tribulations, test, situations and or problems that you are facing day after day. Wake up with the mentality that you will rise. I will always rise. I am a overcomer. What I am facing now shall not last for a lifetime. I will never quit nor allow myself to accept defeat. I mean repeat those words to yourself until you mean it, believe it, receive it and achieve it. I don’t care if you have to walk inside the bathroom and stand in the mirror and recite it to yourself like it’s your lines in a play. Do it. Change will happen. Change will come when you first repeat it + believe it = achieve it.
I know that the path that you are walking on is dark and feels lonely. But if you walk through that valley of the shadow of death and fear no evil, just knowing that Yahuah (God) is the light that will be guiding you down that pathway. You will have absolutely nothing to fear, I gaurantee it.
These situations, hurdles, problems and test that you are facing is just a preparation for what’s to come in your life. Don’t take the test and second guess your answers to the questions. You have been studying for a long time now. Your preparation has been more challenging than the actual exam. You have had to be mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually broken down to be built into the proper butt kicking machine that you are today.
The stuff that’s you are staring in the face is not there to hurt you. It can’t touch you if Yahuah (God) don’t want it to. It is only their to challenge you, strength you because you are growing stronger and stronger everyday. You are climbing the levels and the ranks and on every level there is a devil waiting to war with you. But remember the battle is already won. All you have to do is walk through the valley. Whatever is a enemy, trouble and problem of yours is a enemy, trouble and problem of the heavenly fathers . They are already defeated and a foot stool. When you walk through the valley you are just seeing what could be a potential threat is not one at all. As long as you keep the faith, surrender your control to the heavenly father and keep Yahuah (God) first there is nothing that death can throw towards your way that you won’t be able to say, THAT’S THE BEST YOU GOT.

There’s this misconception that a person have to be great to start do any particular thing in life that they want to accomplish. That’s false. This reminds me of when I was a little boy going to church with my mother. Everytime there was an alter call for someone, anyone to go up and give their life over to Christ. I’m a observer and I enjoyed looking around the church observing what others were doing and why they were doing it. I remember seeing some members of the church walk over to visitors and encourage them to walk up to the alter and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Some of the visitors would go because they were at a place in their life where they were tierd, beaten, battered and broken looking for a that grace and mercy, a second chance.
Now the others, it was ummmmmm interesting to witness. Not because they put up a fight or cause a scene or anything like that. It was interesting because of what they said. I remember hearing a women say naw I’m not ready to give my life over. I have to be right and holy like y’all before I can give my life over. I thought the way a human mind operates in a time of need was fascinating. You’re in a place of healing just like a hospital and a person believes that they already have to be healed in order to receive healing. The purpose for coming is to “come as you are but don’t leave the same way you came in” think about it.
I am literally sitting here thinking how ironic. The same way people view giving their life to Christ can be applied with pursuing goals, dreams, having ambitions and aspirations. Countless times I have heard people and myself was once a victim of making excuses for the reasons why we have not gone forward in life and went after what we truely desire.
I want to research and become knowledgeable on various topics but I don’t have a laptop.
You got a smart phone that’s a mini laptop within itself.
I want to exercise and lose weight, bulk and tone but I don’t have a gym membership.
You have outside, it’s free.
I want to cook a variety of simple and healthy meals. I can’t do it just yet because I need the special pots and pans that the chefs use.
Yet Walmart exist. Pots and pans don’t make good food. The cook makes good food.
I’m going to learn how to drive and get my license. First I need to purchase a car so I can have some thing to practice with.
There’s driving schools anf you may know people with cars who can take the time to teach you. All you have to do is ask.
You know the excuses that you and I have shows doubt and unbelief in our ability to go out and go after what we desire. We create a thousand excuses for accomplishing one task. And you know we have to stop that because we’re lacking hope. We are lacking in areas of our life that is meant for us. We are lacking the confidence and courage to go out and move heaven and hell just to go for what we deserve. The thing about it is we are lacking in the area of our life that’s who we are. That is simply great. Are we good enough. Hell yeah we are? Do we have what it takes? Hell yeah we do. Are we the right person for the job? You damn right we are. If your greatness is determined by the equipment that you need to start then you’re failing. If you’re not great without the equipment then you’re not great with the equipment.
Now don’t get me wrong there is nothing wrong with having the equipment all this does is set you up for success. A person could have all the materials and still not know what to do with it. However the greatness that you are seeking and in search of does not come from having the equipment to start with. That greatness comes from you putting in that ground work, developing a sturdy foundation that you can build off of. You and I both have to understand that we were born with greatness in us. The only way for it to truely manifest is for us to start with what we have.
See on this quest to become great you and I have made this mistake of looking at other establish people; desiring to be at the level that they are at. When we act this way there is a level of underminding and being unappreciative toward what we have that no one else can possess.
The lack of appreciation comes from us being ignorant (simply means not to know) of what we have because we are constantly looking at others to see what they have that we don’t have. What are they doing that we are not doing? Where are they in their life that we are not in our life currently? Why are they able to have access to their greatness and we are still struggling? Who are they and who are we not? How are they able and how come we are not able? Constantly we’re using another person’s success as the measuring stick for our life.
Stop it you are going to fail Everytime. This is not a equipment thing nor another person’s possession thing. This is a mental thing. “What the mind believes the body achieves.”
If you believe that you need materials, equipments, substance, etc then the body will achieve it. But you can never get the credit that you deserve because you needed a place holder so you could escape reality to asend to such great levels. So really was that you who performed it?? Do you know what you are capable of without a false sense of courage.
Look we are all born with greatness within us. It’s just a matter of taking a little and developing it into alot.

What it do,
I rolled out of bed today took me a long shower and got ready for work. Before I left I woke my wife to tell her whether she has to go to work today or not. Whether she woke up on the wrong side of the bed or not. Today make the most with your time. Don’t waste your opportunities. Be able to say that today was a success. I’m going to share that very same thing with you. If you woke up anger, mad, sad, tierd, annoyed, unmotivated, uninspiried, etc. Cast those thoughts out of your head immediately. Don’t sit back and allow those thoughts to birth actions. You want today to be successful, well block all forms of foolishness. Place your mind on handling your business. If you or someone is acting or saying something foolish get up and walk away. Don’t allow your mind to wonder. Don’t allow yourself to forget the goal and objective for today. You want to use today to work on being better than you were on yesterday. Don’t make any excuses. You don’t have the time, energy or the effort to focus all of your attention on something that is foolish. It would take more from you than add to you. The time that you have everyday on this Earth is precious. See it as such and don’t play game with it. Every single day you and I should be building, planning and getting prepared for the wonderfulness that’s to come. See each day as special and treat it like it is your last. The time that you and I have is valuable and short, yet so much can be and will be accomplished. I don’t know about you but I woke up motivated, inspired and humbled for our opportunities. I know that we are not there yet. That’s why we can’t quit and have to constantly keep uplifting one another. However, we don’t have time to waste because our minds is on “building for what we want and preparing for what we’re going to have.” Allow yourself to say today “job complete” don’t go to sleep tonight unfulfilled, regretting how you utilized your time. Your time is precious so value it.
