You know young people. My dad would tell me as a kid to think before you speak. He would take his index finger and place it on my lips and say that thing under your nose will get you into a lot of trouble. Don’t just run your mouth because you can. Because if you can’t keep it closed then someone will close it for you. You say the wrong thing one day and it will cost you everything. If you’re going to speak, open your mouth when it is necessary. If someone is not talking to you don’t just chime in and think that you are injecting wisdom into a conversation. Sometimes you don’t have speak that’s okay. That time that you are quiet. You should be listening, waiting and preparing for the time when you do speak so you can have something meaningful to add to the conversation.
