When breaking out of your comfort zone you shouldn’t be worried about is this new thing going to make me feel comfortable. You need to concern yourself with becoming confident in that which you are experiencing. We focus more on becoming relax and comfortable to much. That takes away from ability to adapt and continuously grow in life. Life is about growing, learning, gaining knowledge and understanding of what is essential to our life. Then moving onto the next and gaining a greater insight. But we can’t take those steps that we need if everyone we find ourself holding up our process by gaining access to a new level and then becoming comfortable and not wanting to move because we feel scared about not knowing the unknown of a particular step that we need to take in our toward growth, freedom, prosperity, life, liberty, happiness, joy, love and etc. So with that being said stop concerning yourself with comfortability and concerns yourself with gaining confidence.
BREAKING OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE
Fear is essential to growth but all too often it’s easier to stay within your comfort zone. By forcing yourself to break out of your comfort zone and try new things it helps to build your confidence, learn new things and enjoy new life experiences. After all, if you’re not moving forwards you’re standing still whilst others go past you.
Here are a few ideas, some big some small, on how to break out of your comfort zone or fight your fears!
- Take a new way home from work
- Approach someone who intimidates you and compliment them
- Go without makeup for a day
- Go to lunch by yourself
- Have a difficult conversation face to face instead of email/text/phone
- Try a new coffee place in town or go somewhere new every time you go out to eat
