This is the Wheel of the Year and one of the pagan holiday’s that fall on the month of October is their new year Samhain (Pronounced: saah-win; saa-ween), All Saints Day, All Hallows Day, All Hallows Eve, but we know this day October 31st as Halloween.
THE ORIGIN
The month of May receives it’s name and origins from the Greek Goddess, mother of Hermes (Roman mythology name is Mercury), messenger of the god’s and herald of the dead Maia. The Romans celebrated Maia during the month of May because they believed she is the goddess of fertility, warmth and growth. Maia is known as Maia Maiestas (Latin: Maia the Majestic) also associated with Bona Dea.
Rituals- Used to maintain peace amongst man and divine
May Day May 1st is a sacred day for the Goddess of growth Maia. On this day a ritual known as Flamen Vulcanalis (Latin meaning: Priest of Vulcan) where they would sacrifice a pregnant sow to Maia that symbolized a offering to an earth goddess which is linked between Maia and her husband Vulcan (The God of Fire and Smithcraft). On this day Lares Praestites (A group of deities who protected the families and the Roman state) the Lares would be worshipped and honored at people household shrines. The goddess Maia can also be linked to Bona Dea which is a state cult on Aventine hill where women used strong wine and blood sacrifices. Bona Dea only allowed women in this cult men were not allowed.
Lemuria or Lemuralia (Latin: Ghost)
Lemuria is the Ancient Roman day of the dead where the family spirits of the dead in ancient Rome, considered frightening or troublesome, that must be exorcised or appeased through certain household rituals (Etymology definition) . See way before the Druids (2nd and 3rd century) appeased the dead, Rome have had various festivals that date back to the inception of Rome. The celebration of Lemuria took place three different times in May. During May 9th, 11th, and 13th rituals were enacted by the Pater Familias (Latin: male head of the families). The males would walk bear foot through his house doing a exorcism ritual to rid of the Lemures.
This gesture is called Mano Fica (Latin: Fig Hand) where the male would hold a hand up with thumb in between the 2nd and 3rd finger also having his mouth filled with dried black beans spitting them on the floor to bait the Lemures to come out. The males would looking away and say “cum his redimo ipusum atque familiam meam (Latin: “These I cast; with these beans, I redeem me and mine”). By spitting the beans the Ancient Romans believed that they were removing potentially dangerous spirits from their home. According to poet Publius Ovidius Naso (43 B.C.- A.D. 17) the spirits would follow the beans and leave the living alone. Next, the Ancient Roman people would clash bronze together and say nine times “manes paterni exite!” (Latin: “Ghost of my fathers and ancestors be gone!”)
So how does Lemuria affect Halloween
Now All Saints Day, a Christian holiday was celebrated on May 13th the same day that Lemuria concluded. In 609A.D. the church would hold a feast in the dedication to Saint Mary and the Martys. From this it was the establishment of All Saints Day. Later during the 8th century A.D. Lemuria became a thing of the past seeing a decline in practice and popularity. But wait let’s take a set back how did this holiday get incorporated into the Christian church. Well, Pope Gregory “The Great” decided to incorporate this druid holiday into the church.
Pope Gregory Proclamation: “They are no longer to sacrifice beast to the devil, but they may kill them for food to the praise of God, and give thanks to the giver of all gifts for his bounty.”
See the Ancient Romans Popes were so fascinated by the druid monks these were men held in honour. They ruled as judges, teachers and priest. The Druids had two groups of men 1) Gaul-men held in honour and 2) Equites-Noblemen. The Druids studied ancient verse natural philosophy, astronomy and the lore of the gods. The Druids had a doctrine that the soul was immortal and passed at death from one person. Now the Druids most of their knowledge is hard to retain because they did not write down their text but they had to remember all of their information. Its is even believed that these druid could walk between a war and stop it. The Druids existed in Ireland, England, Greece and Roman. And did I mention that they practiced open ritual sacrifices of humans and animals, these people were feared as well. Now Pope Gregory III moved the festival from May 13th under the Roman Catholic church to November 1st and coined it as All Hallows (meaning: All the holy ones) or All Saints Day.
Pope Gregory III decreed: “This day was to be a universal church observance.”
Note: Even till this day this is currently celebrated.
What is Halloween???????
It is a Gaelic festival marking the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or “The darker-half of the year.” This holiday belongs to the Celts people living in Ireland and this one of their main holiday signifying the New year. The Celtic people would gather their harvest and livestock and have a huge feast as they headed toward the winter. This harvest festival falls on October 31st and Halloween in Gaelic is (Oiche Shamhna). The festival was held because the Celts believed that those who died would return during the year. So the festival was a way to help the dead find their way to the other world. The Celts wined and dined these dead spirits with a feast that would honor them. Now because of these dead spirits returning every year to visit this gave way to omens and prophecies.
What Can I Say this is how the Celts get down 
To understand who and what the druids are you would have to search the 3rd century BCE Julius Caesar who is the principle source of information about the druids. During Julius Caesar conquering Gaul and the Celts, the Romans became exposed to the rituals of Samhain (“Summer’s end”) and attributed the rituals to their own Goddess Pomona (Goddess of fruitful abundance).
Now as the Romans attempted to replace the old Celtic rituals with their own beliefs Samhain turned into All Hallows Eve which is the night before the Christians All Saints Day. Now on Halloween the druid Celts believed during the end of October that the veil is at its thinness between our world and the spirits world (Druids the “mystic veil” separating the dead from the living opens).
What Did They Practice?????
Divination: the art or practice that seeks to foresee or foretell future events or discover hidden knowledge usually by the interpretation of omens or by the aid of supernatural powers.
scrying: To scry you need a reflective surface to gaze into, this can be a crystal ball, a mirror, a candle flame or water. It is an ancient technique used for the purposes of divination. Many witches use a crystal ball or a crystal sphere which stimulates their psychically induced images. You are the scryer and you are going beyond the conscious mind into a mystical place to gain information offered by the cosmos, our ancestor’s scryed using clouds by day, and the reflection of moonlight on water by night.
Bobbing for apples: Bobbing for apples is not really a part of the Samhain tradition itself, but was introduced into it with the arrival of the Romans into Britain. The Romans wished to incorporate their beliefs into the areas they invaded, so they blended their customs and traditions with those of the Celts. Since the pentagram was already revered by the Celts, it was a simple progression to introduce the festival of Pomona—who was the goddess of orchards—with the festival of Samhain—a harvest festival. Originally bobbing for apples was used in the art of divination to predict matters of the heart and prospected marriages, but nowadays, bobbing for apples has become a well-known and enjoyable party game for both young and old alike. What is the occult significance of the apple? The apple has been held as magical throughout history, although it was never identified as an individual fruit until roughly the 17th century. It has been suggested that all fruit from a foreign source was referred to as an “apple,” even the tomato was commonly known as the “love apple.” The apple was never identified as the fruit that grew on the tree of knowledge in Christian mythology. The apple and its place in mythology can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans, where it was considered to be a potent symbol of the goddess Pomona and was depicted as being favored by Venus. Bonfires: Crops and the bones of animals which had been culled were burnt in the fires as offerings. Our modern word, bonfire, comes from the words bone and fire meaning “fire of bones” and refers to this practice. Feasting: List of foods eaten on Samhain Turnips, apples and apple cider, gourds, nuts, mulled wines, beef, pork, poultry, ale, bram brack (dark loaf or cake made with dried fruit), corn, mugwort tea, pumpkin, squash, and colcannon.
Trick Or Treat: In Medieval Times Druids would go from castle to castle (door to door) and ask: The Trick being if families could not or would not meet the demands of the druids a hexagram was drawn on the door of the dwelling. The Treat is the offering of a young woman to be sacrificed to their god and the druids would be pleased by this and would light a candle made of human fat and insert it in a candle made of human fat and insert it into the jack-o-lantern to protect those inside the castle from being killed by demons. Note: Sounds like a bootlegged version of Passover if you ask me, but hey that’s only if you ask me. The Wicker Man: A wicker man was a large wicker statue reportedly used by the ancient Druids (priests of Celtic paganism) for sacrifice by burning it in effigy.
Jack-O-Lantern: The name derives from a Irishman known as Stingy Jack who tricked the Devil into guaranteeing that he wouldn’t go to hell for his sins. When Jack died he found out that he was barred from heaven, so he went down to hell and banged on the gates of hell and demanded his due from the devil. So the Devil surprisingly kept his promise to save Jack from the depths of hell, through dooming him to wander the surface of the earth for the eternity with the ember of hellfire to light his way thus the tale of the Jack-O-Lantern.
Stonehenge: Simply put where the sacrifices took place for the Druids and this place is located in Britain. So do not let the teachers or historians lie to the children stating that they do not know how and what this Stonehenge is used for but it dates back millions of years ago like I were told in elementary school. Its used for Satanic Worship!!!!!!!!!
Note: Druids (Men of Oak) were concerned with the natural world and its powers and thought of trees to be sacred in particular the Oak tree. The Stonehenge is a stone circle in Britain an ancient megalithic monument where Druids gathered chanting magical incantations chanting, worshipping and sacrificing of humans and animals. Still today for pagans and neo-druids this place is still used for worship.
Halloween has always been a time to celebrate the dead. This holiday is nothing to participate in or allow the children to be apart of. Parents educate yourself and pull away from the smart phones, the poli-tricks, the burden of bills, work and tell the children about the dangers that is in our world. Ephesians 6:12 -For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Some of you may say well that maybe what Halloween has been for centuries but that is not what Halloween means to me. Move your pride to the side because a spade is still a spade and if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, them its a duck. So it does not matter what Halloween may mean to you. It does not matter if you are not doing divination, scrying, or even sacrificing, you are still participating in something that is a abomination before the Lord Elohim. Deuteronomy 12:29-32- When the Lord thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. Thou shalt not do so unto the Lord thy God: for every abomination to the Lord, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
These people are Demonically poses to the core, they are soul less. This is the time of the season where a lot of children go missing. Some are reported found dead and some go unreported. These people do not care about you, me, these children, there children or their own self. They believe in Molech and will die for Molech need be. This is the season for child sacrifices and these children are so innocent but preyed upon because these sick twisted people believe that children and blood are the source for immorality.
You the parents by allowing your children to carve pumpkins, dress up in customs, bobbing for apples, going to haunted houses, churches hanging banters of hallelujah-ween does not justify that we all are taking part in Satanic festivities. We are falling prey to the Lucifer (Hebrew: Helel ben Shahar) all does is kill, steal and destroy (John 10:10-29). Roams the earth seeking whom he may devour (1Peter 5:8). I humbly believe that Lucifer does not have to try too hard because we don’t stay sober or vigilant. We are blinded by pride, arrogance, ego, lustful for that deception birth out of the Garden of Eden (Genesis 5:3 ye shall be as gods) equals a fool (the perfect host) to not know the enemy devices. So instead of knowing we stay content in unknowing because that is when we are held accountable to changing and sounding the alarm in waking up our fellow man. So instead we willfully just hand ourselves over to that bum.
